Clarity That Moves Things Forward. Strategic insight and partnership for high-context creative and technical work.

I'm a principal frontend engineer and strategist with nearly two decades of experience helping product teams build interfaces that scale—from pre-MVP startups to enterprise platforms. I've led frontend architecture across multiple companies, built design systems, and mentored dev teams through high-stakes product launches.

Today, I work directly with early-stage founders and technical leaders who need more than code—they need frontend systems that align product, UX, and engineering from the start.

What I Believe

Good frontend leadership prevents expensive mistakes. Your UI is the system your users interact with—but too often, it's treated as a secondary concern. Misaligned design-dev handoffs, rushed architecture, and unclear ownership slow everything down. I help startups avoid that by embedding clarity and structure at the front end—so teams can build faster, and smarter.

Why I Started This Studio

After years in larger organizations, I realized the most meaningful, high-leverage work happens early—when the stakes are high, the teams are small, and everything is in motion. That's when you need clarity the most.

I built this studio to help teams find stability during those high-pressure moments—to bring strong systems thinking, design intuition, and technical depth to the start of the product lifecycle.

Selected Background Highlights

  • Led frontend modernization at Dun & Bradstreet, migrating legacy systems and building scalable React architecture
  • Built design systems and cross-functional tooling for Blue Origin, improving accessibility and team alignment
  • Served as frontend lead for startups like Barter Share Trade, mentoring engineers and delivering high-leverage systems

About Me, Personally

I live in Albuquerque. I like structure and ambiguity in equal measure. I named this studio because the beginning of a product often feels like the end of the world—and that's when thoughtful interfaces matter most.
